COOPERATIVISM IDENTITY

The cooperative was idealized by several precursors and in fact happened in 1844, when 28 weavers of the district of Rochdale in Manchester in England, have created an association which would later be called the Cooperative. Explored at food and clothing sales in local trade, they craft up first, a warehouse itself. After the association supported the construction or purchase of houses for his weavers and set up a production line for workers with low wages and unemployed.

Since then, cooperatives exist in several sectors all over the world. The cooperative principles and values were upheld, with minor amendments to the cooperative model adopted by everyone, as well as the very basis of the cooperative philosophy.
